A great start of the year! (Thank you, chefs)

We never succeed in taking great pictures of our own activities, but this is the best what we can (and dare to) show you. :-) This is us at Sirha, Lyon!

The beginning of the year has been hectic, but it sure has been great! We’ve just landed back in the office after a hell of a trip through beautiful France and Spain, where we participated in the incredible fairs of Sirha Lyon and MadridFusion. We’ve had the opportunity to be back together with the Omnivore guys, who set up their cooking tents in Lyon and discussed the great opportunities APIC provides chefs, when they’re into building an archive and documenting their kitchen. They’re really amazing and we would like to thank them for that!

And what a start it was! We are very proud to let you know we’re delivering our studio and services to some of the world’s best chefs, like Joan Roca (El Celler de Can Roca ***, #2 Worlds Best Chefs), Andoni Luis Aduriz (Mugaritz **, #6 Worlds Best Chefs) and Juan Mari Arzak (Arzak ***, #8 Worlds Best Chefs) and so many others! They’re all using APIC to capture, to document and to archive their cuisine.

6 months ago, APIC started out selling a simple tool to take - in the simplest way possible - great pictures of your dishes in a standardised way. Today, APIC is much more then that. Still starting from that same simplicity and great picture, the APIC web service allows chefs to solve problems like the way they handle recipes, allergens, traceability issues and menu creation. We’re really proud and there’s so much more that will follow in the coming time.
