Last week, we upgraded the APIC.online web service with many new features. Here’s a list of 5 large features we added, besides tons of small fixes.

1/ New and easier menu bar
First of all, we’ve introduced a new menu bar which makes browsing around on our website much more logical. The new menu bar offers customers the possibility to browse photo’s, restaurants and chefs, visit their own library and view their own profiles (both chef and restaurants).

2/ Automatically share your photos
In te past months, we noticed many of you were interested in having an auto-share function added to their account, so everything you photograph is automatically shared.  Now, you can: in your account settings, chose ‘Yes’ behind 'Share new images by default’ to share everything you photograph immediately on your APIC profile.

3/ Book a table
Many restaurants are using some kind of table booker service already. As from now, APIC is going to help you book more tables! Now you can have a 'book a table’ link on your APIC profile, by just entering the link to their table bookers website on your restaurant profile page. The link automatically redirects to the web page where your online booking is located - so no extra system, just a good way to optimise your current table booker.

4/ Create Events
Some of you are really into event organising. We’ve listened and developed some features specifically for creating and photographing events. Both event-organizers and chefs can now create an event, and every photo taken during the event will be automatically categorised within this event. Because events can take place on different places and with different chefs or themes, we’ve made sure you can enter all this information right on the event page. So nothing gets lost.

5/ Add a Title and Description More Easy
Whenever you photographed one of your favourite dishes, now it’s much easier to add a title and/or small description to the photo, without first having to select the type of photo. This title and description is now also automatically implemented when sharing your photos on Facebook or Twitter - so no time wasted!

And for those who are already using our services for a longer period, we’ve upgraded the design as well, which makes it much nicer to look at, don’t you think?
